Karen says about her work: ‘The spiral and grid symbols in Sandra Beccarelli's drawing inspired me to consider how flatness in line can become dimensional and how we may posit, is the grid a scaffold for the spiral or vice versa? How are they co-dependent, and at what point of mounting tension could it all deconstruct into collapse?’ Karen lives and works in Gambier, Ohio.
